The high-energy bidding is over, the virtual hammer has dropped, and you’ve accepted a winning offer on Bidbus. Congratulations! But if you’re like many sellers, your next question is: "Now what?"

At Bidbus, our job doesn't end when the auction does. We’re here to guide you through the finish line. Here is exactly what to expect in the days following your successful sale

Step 1: The Connection

Immediately after you accept an offer, Bidbus gets to work. We connect you directly with the winning dealer and begin arranging the logistics. You don’t have to worry about "cold calling" a dealership; we facilitate the introduction so everyone is on the same page regarding the sale price and next steps.

Step 2: Paperwork & Payment

We help manage the heavy lifting when it comes to the legalities.

The Paperwork: We coordinate with the buying dealer to ensure all title transfers and bills of sale are prepared correctly.

The Payment: Since you are selling directly to a professional dealer, you can expect a secure payment process. Most sellers receive their funds via a dealership check or electronic transfer once the vehicle and title are handed over.

Step 3: The "3-Day Standard" for Drop-Off

The most common question we hear is about timing. The industry standard for vehicle delivery is 3 business days after the sale is finalized.

Flexibility for Special Circumstances

While three days is the standard, we know life doesn't always move in a straight line. Whether you're waiting on a new car to arrive or have a unique scheduling conflict, different windows can be worked out under special circumstances. If you need a little extra time (or want to move even faster!), just let your Bidbus specialist know. We work with our dealer network to accommodate your needs whenever possible.

Step 4: Pickup or Drop-Off?

Depending on the dealer's location and their specific inventory needs, they may offer two options:

Drop-Off: You drive the car to the dealership, finish the 15-to-30-minute inspection, and collect your payment.

Pickup: Some dealers may coordinate a professional transport or "porter" to come to your home or office to pick up the vehicle directly.

We’ve Got Your Back:

We know that selling a car can sometimes feel overwhelming, and occasionally, hitches happen. Whether that’s a paperwork snag or a communication delay with a dealer.

If there are ever any problems in the process, Bidbus steps up to get your back. You aren't just left to figure it out with a stranger. Our dedicated support team acts as your advocate, stepping in to resolve issues, clarify details, and ensure the dealer honors the terms of the auction. We stay involved until the keys are handed over and the payment is in your hand. Your peace of mind is our priority.
